Help introduce children to the great game of golf by bringing them out to Family Day, July 9, at Sierra Sage and Washoe Golf Courses. Both county courses are offering kids nine holes of golf free with one paying adult per foursome from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
PGA professionals will be on hand throughout the afternoon to offer free tips that will help kids get started or improve existing skills.
Family Days are held monthly as both Washoe County’s public golf courses participate in the PGA’s growth of the game initiative Play Golf America, helping local families enjoy affordable golf. Call either course or visit their websites for more information.
