The Carousel of Cards Blackjack Tournament runs March 11 & 12 and features two days of exciting play with a $5,000 first prize and cash prizes for the top 36 places. Entry is only $69, which includes two qualifying rounds, a re-buy round, a semi-final and a final round.

Check-in begins at noon at The One Club Booth on Saturday, March 10th, with all the blackjack fun beginning at 9am Sunday, March 11th as Round 1 of the tournament kicks off on the main casino floor. Each participant is given $500 in chips at the beginning of each round with their score determined by the amount of chips left after fifteen hands. Round 2 begins at 12:30pm, followed by a “re-buy” round at 4pm. That’s right – any tournament player can buy into this round to increase their chances for earning final round status scores for only an additional $50! Each participant’s highest two scores will then be combined, with the top thirty-five players automatically entered into the semi-final round, guaranteeing them a share of $15,000 in cash prizes.

The fun continues on March 12th when a Wild Card drawing is held at 9:45am. One lucky participant’s name will be drawn to join the top 35 scoring players in the semi-final round and receive a cash prize. Tournament play resumes at 10am with the semi-final round. It all comes down to the final round at 11am which determines the winners, who will be announced at the Awards ceremony immediately after.
